External Corners> There is a specific pre-made corner piece for doing external corners. It is 150mm high. In order to calculate how many corner pieces you require measure the height of the wall and divide it by 150mm or 15cm. For example if you were installing this product on a standard wall inside a house the height of the wall would be 2.5 metres so you would need 17 corner pieces for this. Internal corners> two straight pieces need to be cut to handle internal corners, Straight Piece and Corner Fixing> Using the Power Grab and Bond Specialist Stone Adhesive apply two beads of adhesive lengthways onto the back of each piece of stone and stick it to the wall. The initial grab time for this adhesive is 10 minutes and it will fully cure in 24 hours. Be warned though after the adhesive has fully set you will not be able to remove or re-set the cladding. The power grab adhesive will work on almost any surface including wood, plaster board, backer board, brick and concrete. Customers often ask if you can use a rapidset tile adhesive for fixing the cladding. The answer is yes but we recommend using the power grab and bond, it is marginally more expensive but it is alot quicker and cleaner than using a tile adhesive so you end up saving money on the labour element of the job.
