Alpha XPS Shower Tray 1500x900mm – Square Waste

The Alpha XPS Shower Tray 1500 x 900mm is a lightweight, pre-sloped, tile-ready wet room base with a square waste outlet for walk-in showers and bathrooms.

It's suited to bathroom renovations and new builds across Ireland, where it replaces a traditional sand and cement screed base. The tray arrives factory-formed with the fall already built in, directing water efficiently to the square waste outlet, so there's no need to form falls on site by hand. That removes one of the more time-consuming and skill-dependent stages of a walk-in shower or wet room installation, and it helps keep drainage performance consistent from one job to the next.

The high-density XPS foam core is fully waterproof, which makes it a reliable base for wet rooms and tiled showers, and it's considerably lighter than a traditional stone resin or concrete tray, so it's easier to handle and position on site. It can be trimmed to fit awkward bathroom layouts, and the tile-ready reinforced surface takes standard flexible tile adhesive directly, whether you're finishing with porcelain, ceramic or natural stone.

Compared with a traditional screed shower base, which can add several days to a project while it dries, this tray lets tilers and bathroom installers reduce labour time, avoid drying delays, and move straight on to tiling with a consistent drainage fall already in place. It suits walk-in showers, wet room installations, bathroom renovations, timber and concrete subfloors, and both residential and commercial projects.
