Alpha 1200x900 Linear Shower Tray – Wet Room Floor Former

The 1200x900x30mm Linear Shower Tray is a pre-sloped XPS wet room floor former with a metal gulley on the 900mm side, ready to tile directly for walk-in showers.

It suits bathroom renovations and new builds across Ireland, arriving factory-formed with the correct fall built in, so there's no need to create the slope on site before tiling. The high-density XPS foam core is a closed-cell construction, which makes the tray 100% waterproof on its own and a straightforward base to build a full wet room tanking system around. It's designed for use over concrete or timber subfloors and can be trimmed on site to fit real-world bathroom layouts, which keeps handling and installation simple even where the room isn't perfectly square.

The linear channel sits on the 900mm side and directs water to a metal gulley rather than a central point drain, which is what gives walk-in and level-access showers their flat, uninterrupted floor. That drainage layout also works well with large-format porcelain tiles, a common specification in contemporary Irish bathroom design, since it avoids the visible falls that a traditional shower tray needs towards a centre waste. Note that the waste itself isn't included with this tray and needs to be ordered separately.

It's specified for bathroom renovations, wet room installations, disabled and level-access showers, and residential and commercial projects, and it's a regular choice among tilers and bathroom contractors working to a full tanking specification.
