Alpha 1500x900 Linear Shower Tray – XPS Wet Room Shower Base

The Standard Linear Tray 1500x900x30mm provides a waterproof, tile-ready XPS base with a built-in fall for effortless wet room installations.

Building a modern, level-access walk-in shower is now easier than ever with the Standard Linear Shower Tray 1500x900x30mm (SKU: TALPHW93). Engineered from high-density, lightweight XPS foam and coated with a reinforced cement layer, this 30mm slim base gives you a super-strong, 100% waterproof foundation. Featuring a metal gulley positioned along the 900mm side, it creates a sleek, low-profile drainage line that fits seamlessly into modern Irish bathroom designs.

One of the biggest headaches when creating a tiled wet room floor is trying to manually screed a perfect slope toward the drain. A minor mistake can leave you with standing water, pooling, and ruined grout lines. This tray comes with a precise, pre-formed factory fall built directly into the base. It guarantees fast, efficient water drainage toward the linear drain channel every time—saving you hours of tricky floor prep work and giving you a stress-free installation.

Linear drain trays are a favorite among tilers and interior designers because they allow you to use stunning, large-format floor tiles without having to cut intricate envelope folds around a central square drain. Whether you are fitting onto a timber joist system or a solid concrete subfloor, this high-strength tray handles heavy foot traffic with ease. Need a custom fit? The rigid XPS foam can be trimmed easily on site to match your exact room dimensions without sacrificing its structural integrity.

Designed to protect your home against hidden moisture leaks, this tray is completely waterproof and inherently mold-resistant. The fiber-reinforced cement surface provides maximum grip for flexible tile adhesive, allowing you to tile directly onto the tray as soon as your tanking tape and drain connection are secured. (Note: Waste unit sold separately.)
